Duck Lips

Okay so who here has caught onto the duck lip fad? Even Mona Lisa does the duck lip!
A smile is so much more beautiful and mesmerizing, but you can't force anyone to do what they don't want to!
It's funny how filters and Photoshop can add effects and colors to  a photo that one never even imagined..
Like my job says, a smile never dies.... :D

Mexico vs Japan

Here is a comical, stereotypical, but true photo. No offense intended, enjoy

Mothers

Mothers can be a pain and a beauty. I know my momma is the sweetest, most understanding person in the world. I would do anything for her and strive to be a professional to make her proud and make my money! Mommy always knows best, and for those of you out there who do not have a relationship with their mother, remember that there is someone out there for everyone and someone above loves you! :)

History In The Making

President Obama (MY president) faces many challenges with his position.
The congress can be against him at times, plus he has peoples' ignorance on his shoulders. Some people don't understand that America is not directly under his power. Hopefully by the end of his term, however his promises are satisfied, along with the hopes of millions of people. With that being said, here are some iconic pictures of this legendary man...

Important Things

Love this.

Pretty self explanatory.

Things that should be caged up

Just kidding. Nothing or no one deserves to be caged up. As my history professor says: "You can cage the bird but the caged bird is still going to SING"
love that quote.
They say a strong attractive characteristic of men is their sense of humor, speak for yourselves, gentlemen?

Anyway, this is what is caged up.

Love knows no species

All through out civilization, there have been partnerships that have been persay, less than normal. It is interesting to see this affection among different species. In a Kenyan national park, a lioness  is known to take in baby Bongo (which is like a desert reindeer or antelope) and even protect it!
The lioness only allows the bongo's mother to come by for nursing purposes only. Unfortunately the lioness kills her victims a couple of weeks later, but she then acquires another customer!

This is a picture of the affection between a baby lion and a chimpanzee. Even other species have feelings, affections and thoughts, what a wonderful world!

bread, bread, bread

Hellur!
Did you know you can made multi colored cake?

All you need is white cake batter (premade or from scratch)
food coloring
separate bowls

Then, simply take the cake batter and pout in into however many bowls you have (4-5) is good
After, add food coloring color to each bowl to make the batter that color
Next, pour each color into a separate baking dish and bake!
Remember to butter and powder the bottom of the pan for easy removal

When you're ready to put them together, pop each color out of its baking dish and put one on top of another with icing in between each layer, enjoy, thanks!

Kiwi Nails!

Hey girls!

Here is this do it yourself kiwi nail tutorial. You can also mix other colors in as you please.

toothpics

2. draw white ovals in the middle of your nails
3. decorate around the white and you have kiwis!

Refer to the picture for more guidance.

Mixed Faiths

Okay, so did you know that in the 1950's, 80% of Americans identified with some sort of religion?

This is significant because people nowadays can usually have a hard time identifying with a religion due to the misguidance of adolescents.

There are also people who identify half way with a religion, which means that they're family has a religion and they attend church sometimes with them.

Ultimately, society and many people do believe in some some sort of higher power.
Others may feel part of all religions and find common ground amongst them. To each his own.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is known internationally for her gaudy glamour and brisk beats. From the hit Born This Way to Judas to You and I to Telephone to Alejandro, every one of her songs has a hidden message, and its creepily enchanting (along with many other hit artists, but that's a whole different story)
Anyway, Gaga is also a huge advocate for the LGBT Community and believes in equal rights, although her style is a bit strange to say the least, she is still a good example for boys and girls all over the world.
Also, believe it or not, Gaga has shown herself to be very humble; according to reports, she still lives with her parents! She has not decided on a house because she says she is too busy and does not know where she wants to settle down yet. Again, this information is based on local reports, unfortunately I have no direct quotes from her...yet...

DIY Silhouette

Hello!
Here is a fun and creative project to make a silhouette, maybe it can make a nice gift or decoration!
Have you ever made a silhouette project? They're actually pretty fun and this idea helps you do a self portrait instead of needing to shine a flashlight and pencil out the profile of the face.

You will need:

A side photograph of your subject
Two pieces of paper (one with a print/design, one solid color)
scissors
a pencil
glue
frame (the size of your paper, usually 8x10)

1. take the photo of your subject from the profile (side view)
2. cut out only the face of the photo
3. trace this shape onto the paper with a design on it
4. cut out the profile shape
5. put the sold page in back of the printed page
6. frame and enjoy!

or you can do it as the picture suggests!

Famous Failures

Hi friends, this picture illustrates famous failures that went down in history. I hope this inspires everyone to reach and achieve their dreams. It is rare that a good life awaits us in our home town; so get up, get out and explore the world!
You never know what is going to happen until you try!

Dr Philisms

I want to share some quotes from my favorite doctor, Phillip McGraw
Please read and enjoy, I hope this is of some help to my readers :) there used to be 10, but I cannot find the rest.

Oldschool

Amigos!
I want to share a mini rant that will be discussing classic movie film stars versus today's movie stars. Now, there is no doubt that society has created their own standards for how television and film stars should act, and that is sad because obviously that is not a logical standard! Women come in all shapes and size and attitudes, and it is silly to think that life has uniformity.
If you think about celebrities nowadays, some are always getting into trouble and you just never know what to expect! (eg Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes, Reese Witherspoon) That's unfortunate because what kind of example are these people setting for kids? adolescents?
Unfortunately, I was born in the 90's and I did not get to see classic actors and actresses in their hayday, such as Dolores Del Rio, Maria Felix, Elizabeth Taylor, or even my boo Lucille Ball.
Thanks for reading, enjoy the pics!

I am not a human being part II

Hi friends! Whether you are a hip hop/rap fan or not, I want to invite you to listen to Lil Wayne's new mix tape titled "I am not a human being part II"
I came across this album on Pandora, and every song bumps better than the last! If you are not a Lil Wayne fan that is fine, I hear people's opinions about him all the time and I wish people wouldn't. If someone introduces me to someone or something I do not bash it, so it would be nice if people acted the same way. Which always seems to be a little too much to ask for... Anyway, enjoy and listen!:)

Peach everything

So does anyone else like peaches and peach flavor as much as I do?
Well I just want to recommend Stella Rosa Wine "Stella Peach" flavor. It is a white semi-sweet wine that simply tastes like peach Sprite! It is so yummy, hope you all can have a try sometime :)

Pride!

This year I am happy to say I attended the Poseidon Dance party aboard the beautiful and legendary Queen Mary ship in Long Beach,CA.
It was a dance celebrating the LGBT Pride festival's arrival to Los Angeles.
I dance because I believe in equal rights. I'm  a straight woman and its completely fine for me to hold my boyfriend's hand. So why can't same sex couples?
They aren't doing anything to me or my family so why should they be discriminated against?
Many say that it is because of the term 'marriage' itself. Some say that marriage beings the 'God' aspect into it and that is against his will. Also, as a catholic I can't help but feel strongly between church and state- although some topics are disagreeable, I know everyone has their own opinion and that is okay!
With that being said, enjoy goodnight.

^^ Queen Mary at night showing her gay pride :) she feels me...

Sip slowly in order to maximize pleasure

My favorite beverages are:
Boba milk tea from Dollar Boba
Chai latte, from anywhere as long as its not too sweet
And passion tea lemonade; sweetened please :)
 Thanks for reading.

Animalitos

I just want to share some cute photography of beautiful animals: They are innocent and harmless :)

baby seal drinking milk!

Many more to come! :)

Princess Diana vs Princess Kate

British "paps" (paparazzi) as they are called seem to have a field day criticizing and comparing the beautiful late Princess Diana to expecting Kate Middleton.

To begin with, both ladies married their prince charming from Wales England. They both share the same mother in law: the gorgeous Queen Elizabeth. (love them both, do not mean anything in a negative connotation)
And both have impeccable tastes in fashion.
Both love to dress modest and playfully, just a princess should. Both women are extremely humanitarian and enjoy social/charity outings.
One last thing: both have one of the most watched weddings on TV of all time; a Royal wedding is a function!
There are many comparisons that can be make purely on observation, because honestly no one knows the girls.. But it is good to see Prince William married to his companion and college sweetheart.
They are also expecting, congrats to my Royals!
Love from California.

Family vs The Simpsons

Okay who here likes watching The Simpsons and Family Guy?

Well today I want to share some similarities among them. I grew up watching The Simpsons on channel FOX 11 at 6:30 and 7 p.m. When Family Guy came out especially, I noticed the many similarities between these two shows.
To begin with, all the human characters in each series have a total of four digits on their hands. That's right, Homer, Maggy, Marge, Lisa, Bart, Peter, Loise, Meg, Chris and Stewie all have three long digits and one thumb.
Also, notice the way the families have five members: a mom, dad, an older son, younger daughter, and a baby that never seems to grow.

Maggy has not grown for the past 25 years since before I was born!

It is cool to see how FOX is still trending to this day. In other words, they had a booming television series since the 80's. And in the new millenium Family Guy is really famous and trending.

Finally, I do not think people realize how perverse and mature these two show are. They truly are adult comedies and should be kept that way, if you'd like! Like they say: you never know how dirty something really is until you hear your babies hear it! (children, nieces, nephews etc)

PS
don't even let me throw in American Dad.. same ball game :)

Gender Roles

When I listen to oldies, I feel like I transport to a time way before my time. I imagine myself in the fifties, as a teenager, riding in my car with the top down.
Perhaps a Chevy Bel Air, Ford Custom, Chrysler 300C, or a Ford Thunder bird?

They only down side however, to living in a time before this is that women were very disadvantaged and impeded from their capabilities for a long time. I do not know why women have been seen as birth ovens for all of humanity, Providentialists (that is, those who believe in a higher power, God, Ala, Lala Bella) like myself may say that it's because "God made Eve from the rib of Adam, therefore she is subordinate to him" And depending on your beliefs, that may be all true, however think about the logical aspect:
God needed to give Adam a companion, a helper, and someone to share his life with, someone to give him a smart second opinion: then came Eve.
Pretty much Adam would not have survived without his love ;) so God helped him out and sent him the most beautiful complex creature there is in the universe: a woman.

Anyway, back to the fifties:
Look at the show I Love Lucy: poor Lucy always wants to be active and go out, however, every time she goes out she gets into some mischief or another. Which is comical, however that is pretty much saying that Lucy should have stayed home.
Just with the simple fact that she is a stay at home mother shows that she was the co-pilot of the house because she virtually brought no income home.

Another view: it is interesting that her husband is actually a Cuban immigrant, that completely defaces the image of the "perfect American family". Is there a subliminal message about mixed marriages? Could it be a foreshadowing to the Cuban Missile Crisis?

Just a rant, thanks.
