Fiesta at the local mission!

San Gabriel Mission, founded on September 8 1771 is happy to celebrate its 242th birthday!

In honor of its historic birthday, there will be a fiesta!
This fiesta will include:

• game and food booths
• bingo in parish center (AC room)
• rides for all ages
• live music and performances

ADMISSION AND PARKING IS FREE!

So come on down August 30 at noon until August 31 at 11:59 p.m. for yummy food and a good time!

City Walk?

The world famous Universal City Walk is celebrating its 20th anniversary!

This means that there are all kinds of goodies when promotions like this come around...

Did you know they are offering $2 parking all summer through September?

At the entrance, you must pay the regular $15 parking fee, but on your way out all you have to do is show your AMC ticket stub (from the universal movie theatre), and you will get a refund for  $2 parking!

You basically get a $13 refund on your way out, that's half of a textbook rental!!

A smile is so much more beautiful and mesmerizing, but you can't force anyone to do what they don't want to!
